- Retired World Bank official; lived and worked in Central Asia 1993-2003, including in Tashkent where I was the World Bank's Country Manager, Uzbekistan 1999-2003; founding member, and now Chairman, Friends of Nukus Museum (wwww.savitskycollection.org); currently live partly in Alexandria, VA (outside Washington, D.C.) and partly in downtown Seattle.
